International Travel Agent - Experienced – Mountain View

We are in need of experienced international ticket agents as our business increases. I want to stress that we require experience with complex international pricing and ticketing. We prefer to have agents who have experience using Amadeus, however we will look at those with Apollo/Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan experience, as well.

Here is the current job description. Seeking experienced, full-time international ticketing agent for fast-paced, high-volume online travel agency located in Mountain View.

Experience:
Strong understanding of international ticketing concepts, pricing, fare construction, etc.
Ability to read and understand linear fare construction, fare rules, and airline negotiated fare contracts.
Knowledge of one or more GDS systems; Amadeus, (preferable), Apollo/Galileo, Sabre or Worldspan.

Applicants must possess the following skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong PC skills; Windows, MS Office knowledge preferable.
Be a self-starter who exercises independent judgment and initiative.
Must be detail oriented, proactive, and possess excellent multitasking skills.
A team player with a positive work ethic.
Must be organized and able to prioritize workload.
