Position:


Accomplished Software User Experience Designer to help build new solutions for Pinnacle’s next generation and existing products. The candidate will turn ideas into amazingly aesthetic designs that create a terrific user experience by solving customer problems in an easy and efficient way from end to end. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of video editing work flow, will be extremely creative and have a savvy feel for creating content with aesthetic looks in 3D space with motion graphics. The candidate wills posses exceptional organizational and communication skills as well. The candidate should have a comprehensive knowledge of product design methodology. In addition, this position may involve the organization and development of motion graphics, titles and menus among other types of graphical elements included in videos. Experience with video creation on a Microsoft Windows platform is also a big plus.

Requirements:

Qualified candidate will have at least BS (preferably MS) in product design/interaction design, human factors, graphic design or related field
You must be an enthusiastic self-starter, ready to do whatever it takes to create best-of-breed software
5+ years of user interface design experience with Web applications, desktop, or mobile applications
Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross functional teams including engineering and product management
Expertise with design software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator
Proficient in a variety of methods such as wireframes and prototypes for conveying ideas and concepts
Excellent organization, communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Experience in the video industry is a big plus
Blend, Flash, XAML, scripting and various other technologies a plus
